Formerly a mill for White Lily Flour, this building was originally built in 1885 in downtown Knoxville. The business closed in 2008, and a few years later a developer bought the building seeing its potential for urban apartments. Four separate buildings were woven together as one for the new use. The building’s character was maintained through incorporation of the original bright red industrial doors, high ceilings and exposed brick. Unique studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments, some with lofts, are spread throughout the four stories. Ground level commercial spaces and adjacent parking, all within walking distance to Knoxville’s Old City and Market Square, make a once abandoned factory building a welcome addition to downtown Knoxville.
